Product: Pavillion Laptop DV8 Model NQ226AV
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I am just wondering if anyone knows if there is an updated bios for my laptop. I have the original software and Bios still running on this machine. I love the laptop, but would really love it if there are any updates that won't brick my computer.

Any help at all, anybody. I could not find any on the HP software site.

HP retired support for that model series since it is more than 10 years old.

 

This would be the latest BIOS update for your notebook...

If the notebook is running fine, you may want to leave well enough alone.
