EliteBook 745 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Win 10 64 bit pro HP EliteBook 745 G4 and I am trying to enter the BIOS.  I have tried repeatedly the esc and f10 keys on boot up but no luck.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Try booting into Windows. Now, turn off the PC by pressing and holding power button until PC turn off. Now push the power button again to start the PC and start pressing on the ESC key several times until startup menu appears. After once the startup menu has appeared click on F10 to enter BIOs.

Let me know,

David

Didnt work.  As I press the esc key on boot up it just goes to the "Protected by HP Sure Start" screen and then continues to boot up windows.

Ok. Try the option "Opening the Startup Menu from within Windows on the computer" from within this HP support document. Basically you need to hold the shift button while in Windows and click on restart which takes you to a screen with more options. Try following the guide:

Hope it helps,

David
