HP Pavillion dv4000

So I have this Old HP Pavillion dv4000 that I recently got, and It is currently on Linux Peppermint.  I've been trying to get onto Windows XP, which it was on originally. I made a bootable USB stick for it, and it came up with this error.

it says:  For Realtek RTL8139(X)/8130/810X PCI Fast Ethernet Controler v2.13 (020326)

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM.

I am not connected to the Internet with ethernet, if that helps.

one thing that i found on the Web was that i could make sure that my BIOS was configured with the Network adapter on the bottom, but it is.

I would like to restore this Laptop back to its XP Glory to relive the nostalgia, and if anyone could help me, i would be quite thankful.
