Envy 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've a HP Envy-17 laptop and the power switch has recently become sticky; by this I mean that it seems to stay in the depressed postion which prevents the machine from powering on, yet alone booting.

I  haven't spilled anything on it or knowingly knocked it - 99.999% of the time it is on my desk in my home office, with the lid closed and I use a KVM adapter for the human interface.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? It has been rocksteady ufor the last year or so of ownership.

Or you can conatct the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
