I have a HP laptop seldom use.  So I updated the laptop overnight and this morning I can't access my laptop.  It is telling me my password is wrong.  I have never installed a password to access the laptop and some more I can't even put a password if I wanted even to try.  It says the password is invalid try again...but there is nowhere to even try. Can anyone help. Many thanks.

@Maitheng

If your PC reset your password on you, we can not help in that because we have no access to either the original or the new password.

We are not permitted to assist in resetting passwords due to HP Policy.

Hello WaWood,

I have already contacted HP because I could not wait for an answer.  I must say they are very good at Customer Service especially my warranty is already over but they helped me to reset my OS.  Luckily i had hardly any data on that Laptop since I use it as spare.  So all is well now. I just have to re-install all my apps.

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer my query.

Stay safe.

Best Regards.
