Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer will not power on unless i push the power button in the right spot very hard. I used to be able to push it rather gentle with my finger but not I have to use a pen or other sharp object to press and hold. Im not sure if pushing harder helps or I just need to push in the right spot but i dont feel that i should have to use a piinted object just to get it on.

Hi@valkyrie247365,

Thanks for stopping by HP Support Forums.

I came across your post and would like to help.

Need assistance in fixing the power button issue on the PC. Is that, correct?

The issue seems to be on the physical button and cannot be fixed either by any software updates.

You can reach to HP Phone support by using the link below.

Hope the solution answers your query. Feel free to reply back for more.
