HP ENVY x360 - 15m-cp0012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just started this week. I go to start menu. Select shut down. Logs me out and turns off screen. Key board lights stay on. I can hear the internal fan working hard. I press the power button but no response. (same thing happens If I just close the laptop lid). I have gone to power management. unselected box "turn on fast start up".  Still same problem. I have even connected HDMI to a TV and attempt to power on. No video signal. (please note, if I hard hold power button and go through the boot up again. Everything works and I can use HDMI to tv just fine)

I had reset my laptop. Prior to that my bios was

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors)

F.46 Rev.A   Dec 13 2019

after reset. I performed windows updates and checked bios is still F.46 but for Nov 2019.

Last month I had experienced touch screen stopped working. Error code 10 for ELAN touchfilter. Not sure if related. Probably not. Just thought I'd mention it.

Was hoping someone could guide me to the correct direction.
