Piece of cake. They sell them at Best Buy if you have to have it today, or Frys if you live in a town that has one of those. Amazon.com can get it to you in a day or two.
Any 2.5 inch wide, and 7mm or 9.5mm thick SATA laptop hard drive will work and for a bit more money you could upgrade to a solid state (MUCH faster) or hybrid type drive (faster). The one I linked is a good cost-benefit option...7200 rpm spin speed and good size for a very good price.
You may have questions about how to get your operating system (Windows) and apps back on the new hard drive. Do you have an HP recovery disk? Most people don't and we can get at it another way if you don't.
