Pavillion x360 15-br044cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While playing Youtube on Google Chrome, my laptop froze and I had to hard shut down. When I turned it back on, the computer started to boot like normal with the black HP screen and a dotted loading wheel at the bottom center of the screen. The loader spun for an exceeding long time, which sometimes happens. Usually, I just need to hard shut down again and reboot. I did so.This time a similar screen loaded, but on bottom it said "Preparing Automatic Repair". A load wheel then spun a few times, and the screen went black except for the faint backlight. I've restarted several times to the same result. Sometimes I get the loading screen, sometimes the repair screen, sometimes the loading screen then the repair screen. No matter what, it always ends in a black screen.

I tried system recovery by pressing ESC at boot and then F11. I get a black HP screen that says "loading". Then eventually, eternal blackness. At a loss, I decided to try an OS repair or reinstall, but it also seems unable to boot to USB. When I go into boot options, I choose my USB drive, press enter, and get a black screen. I even changed the boot order to boot from USB first. That time I got a black screen with a white dot that turned into a mouse cursor when I moved it, but nothing else. Unfortunately, I'm out of warranty. Are there any solutions to this issue, or am I just SOL?
