HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-eu0000 IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Envy x360 convertible laptop, the power button is on the keyboard. When the laptop is in tablet mode, it disables the keyboard just fine, except  for the power key. I found this out by trying to draw with my laptop on a flat surface, and the weight of my hand on the screen apparently pushed the power key and turned off the laptop. I tested it out myself, by putting the laptop in tablet mode and pressing keys on the keyboard: nothing typed. The power button still had the light on, and when pressed and held, it forced the laptop to shut off despite the help article saying that it should be disabled along with the rest of the keyboard:  https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/ish_3894098-3878823-16

Is this a hardware fault? My OS is completely up to date.
