Product: Compaq evo N1020v
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

BIOS gives me boot options to select CD drive or External Floppy Drive. Yet when CD drive is selected as boot it still goes to hard drive as far as I can tell. Bios doesn't give option to boot from USB.

I was hoping by updating to the latest or last version of BIOS for the Compaq evo N1020v PC it might have incorporated the USB as a boot option.

I can't get the internet either, it gave me a WAN error. I've tried restoring to factory settings but it only restores to a recent version. I'm hoping to resolve all these issues by being able to get Linux on it but frustrated at every turn.
