my computer was off, my computer bag fell about 2 feet & hit the ground. My computer will not power up & there is no light at the power plug in area. My screen isn't cracked & i see no dents.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's try with an alternate power adapter/ another wall outlet. Also, let's do a hard reset:

 

Ensure your laptop is OFF. Unplug all the external devices (If any).

 

Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.

 

Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.

 

Connect the power supply (power adapter).

 

Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
