Pavilion G6 2351sv
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I would like your help regarding an upgrade I have in mind. For some years now I have been using a Pavilion G6 2351sv, which has been a vfm beast to be honest. Over the years I have upgraded some of its parts (cpu, ram, ssd, second hdd and the wireless module to be exact).

Lately, though, the usb ports have started crapping out (do keep in mind that the laptop is 8 years old with full use, especially during the last year as I am working from home since the start of the covid-19 pandemic).  So, my question is the following: i know that I can get a replacement motherboard amd swap it with the old one, I certainly have taken the computer apart loads of times for maintenance, but is there a newer board that can fit into the chassis so that the notebook can be further upgraded in the future? Preferably one with a better gpu as well?

I will, of course, do my own research as well, but if anyone has prior knowledge in the matter, it'll be a great help.
