Operating System: Linux

Recently i upgraded my RAM from 8gb to 16gb. after my RAM upgrade my laptop getting heated and battery also draining quickly.one hour reduced in Battery backup . the new RAM which i upgraded was Crucial CT8G4SFS82A. Im using ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS . Swap now i'm using now is 4GB. (I upgraded  SATA SSD 250 GB 10 month before).

whether i need to install any drivers or my RAM having any issues? (But memory showing in system is 15.6gb and my system doesnt have any other issue except battery drain)
