I have the boot locked by a password and it seems the only solution is to get a certain file - smc.bin - from HP. I foun this procedure absolutely unacceptable as a after sale service. I am currently posted abroad and can not contact HP over the phone. Only possibility I have is via web but it does not work. I can not understand this!!
