HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg0103TX
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi Team,

Its been 4 months I bought my HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg0103TX, its battery is draining fast like within 1.5 hours.

I have run the Component Tests for Battery Check as well. It shows Failed.

And also heat is dissipating heavily.

Ideally any battery wouldn't slow down that rapidly in just 4 months.

Please help me if I need to install any drivers and disable any settings that consume more battery.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent Window or software update?
  • Could you please share the picture of failure ID?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi Echo Lake,

I have been observing this after I upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10.

Here is the Test Id

Thank you

@mahesh_babu

Thank you for posting back.

It seems like a hardware related issue with the battery and also the failure code is correct, unable to decode the failure ID. If you still need additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction or a remote session with our HP Support team if you would like to continue troubleshooting.

I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Please feel free to contact us here anytime you require any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Have a nice day ahead.
