So my windows got corrupted after a hp bios update recently, and after that it didn't accept the password which i earlier used...i talked to the agent and he gave me the link to hp recovery tool. So i wanna know do as my laptop was slow so i added an additional ssd from company and before doing the recovery do i have to get it removed somehow?

The HP Recovery tool is designed to restore the PC to a drive much the same size as the original drive.  If you replaced this with a smaller SSD, that recovery is not going to work.
