Factory Reset Issue

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I was preforming a factory reset on my laptop and it was plugged in and last I checked it was at 34% and I came back up around 10 minutes later to find the screen off. After multiple attempts of trying to turn it back, there was no success. I don't know the exact model but the model number is X7588UA#ABA. Let me know if anyone needs more information.

Thanks!

Hi

So the Factory Fresh reset was done to an existing hard disk that had no problems?

So is it a black  screen?

I can suggest  trying ...

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01684768#c01684768_removablebatt

With the battery and power cord unplugged, press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge from the capacitors.

For most laptops, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to reset.

If in doubt please ask.

Tried that, didn't work. I referred to the video as well and it just stayed black.

Hi

Well without any other info, like a fan whirring or a power on light or something, you probably have a dead Mainboard or CPU.
