Feature update to Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1703

HP EliteBook 840 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

under Windows update status I have these line:

Updates are available.

Feature update to Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1703.

We found some issues. Select this message to fix and finish updating.

and there is a  "Fix issues" button.

when I press the button, a new window is opened  with the title "Windows Update" and inside it I get the message:

Windows 10 couldn't be installed

We couldn't update the system reserved partition

Any help is appreciated.

My understanding is that your System Reserve Partition is not large enough to hold what it needs.

You can attempt to resize it with a special utiltiy like Easeus Partition Manager.

Here is a link to an explanation. Scroll down to How to resize the system reserved partition.

Or you could do a clean install Of Windows with the Media Creation Tool. This would wipe the drive and reinstall from scratch. You would have to manually install the HP drivers afterward.

Let me know how it goes.
