Since the upgrade to windows 10 the ACPI\HPQ6007 device is listed as an unknown device without available drivers. I've found out that this was the accelerometer responsible for the disk protection.
Where can i get the correct drivers from?
And how is something as simple as that driver not compatile with the windows 10 upgrade, which left pretty much every other program intact?

Hi:
I do have one question for you...
Your post stated that you have a HP g6 notebook, yet the hardware ID you posted (6007) is for a much newer revision of the HP 3D driveguard device.
Are you sure that you have a g6?
Because the 3D driveguard driver you need for a g6 would be for the hardware ID of 0004.
This is the 3D driveguard driver needed for all g6 models.

I upgraded from Win7.
Trying to install from the official SP63786 (meant for Win7-8.1) doesn't succeed and gives the error message:
"The HP 3D DriveGuard driver cannot install, the Accelerometer hardware is not present or suppported on this unit."
I've read in a different thread that the same problem was resolved for someone else by a HPSA software update. I however never got any prompts for one.

I made a typo earlier. As it turns out, it's not 6007, it's 6001. Making it not an accelerometer but the wireless button. For which i now found the correct driver.
Thank you for noticing this!
