HP Omen - 17-w260nz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop second-hand. The original owner had random stuff leftover so I did a factory reset. Keyboard backlight worked before reset. After reset, backlight does not work and fn + keys do not work. Please note I did visit the appropriate driver download page and installed the HP System Event Utility - which is supposed to ne the keyboard fn driver. Any suggestions?

Have you tried running: " HP Support Assistant "

Yes, all drivers are updated. THe guided troubleshooting is a bunch of scripted garbage with no real solutions for those of us who know what a driver is and how to install it.

That being said, the keyboard problem persists.
