Product: Elitebook 1040 x360 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a new laptop: the HP Elitebook 1040 x360 G5. The reason I chose this model was, among other things, because of the tablet mode. However: I now notice that, whenever I flip my laptop screen around and the backsides of the screen and the keyboard touch, my laptop thinks it it closed normally, so it turns the screen off. It's as if my laptop doesnt know the difference between being flipped forwards and backwards. This renders the tablet mode impossible to use, ofcourse.

 

Any ideas? Should I send this model back or is there a simpler solution?
