HP Notebook - 15-da0038na

After trying to completely reboot windows 10 after the update error, there has only been the "no boot device found" message. I have tried checking the hard disk but even the short check has failed. Someone has suggested that we redownload windows 10, but how do I do this with only one working computer?

Hi:

Unfortunately, that wouldn't be possible.

You will need to have access to another Windows PC where you can use the HP cloud recovery client utility to create a bootable recovery drive.  A friend or relative?

Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery client utility...

If you are getting a short DST failure, you will need to replace the hard drive as well.

Here is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
