Probook 6570b
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi,

my HP Probook 6570b, does not recognise a USB stick for booting, no matter which socket. That can't be right, can it? I have tried with all kinds of sticks, brands, SSD's, nothing works.

What could be the reason for this?

Thank you in advance.

P.S. My English is not so good. 😉

If you use an UEFI firmware setting and your USB disk does not have the efi-bootfiles it will not work.

So reboot press >Esc< >F10< and look how your "BIOS" is configured.
