I am so tired of trying to find help with HP ! This is my problem. I NEED TO PURCHASE A RECOVERY DISC FOR MY HP 14 STREAM LAPTOP as I have lost my RECOVERY ENVIROMENT after performing a necessary hardset

Hi:

 

What is the full model number of your stream notebook? 

 

There are hundreds of different stream 14 models, and they all come with a unique recovery kit.

 

If you don't know, use this guide for how to find that info...

You can also reinstall W10 for free by using the Microsoft W10 media creation tool at the link below to create a W10 USB installation flash drive.  You will need an 8 GB flash drive for this process.

Since the stream notebooks have such small hard drives (32 GB), if you make the W10 installation media, when you get to the screen that asks where do you want to install windows, delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.

 

Then install W10 on that partition.

 

That will give you the most space to add a couple of programs and files.
