I've attemped to recover my system several times, and get the same results ( recovery failed, retry ).

I understand you are trying to perform recovery on your PC but it is failing.

 

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

 

Please provide the product number of your PC to assist you better.

 

Try running a system diagnostics test on your PC and let me know the results.

 

Refer this article to know how to perform system recovery on your PC.

 

If the diagnostics test results pass it looks like the recovery partition on your PC has failed.

 

Try running a recovery using the recovery discs, if you don't have a set of recovery discs. Please contact HP support and order a set of recovery discs.
