What steps do I have to take to reinstall windows 10 on HP ENVY x360 - m6-w101dx with new SSD hard drive but I do not have the original HP recovery Windows 10 DVD? Am I am able to get the Windows 10 download from the HP website, etc.?
Also, I am looking at a 1TB SSD drive. Any recommendations on the best SSD to buy?

You can use Cloud Recovery tool
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205
or using Microsoft tool. You do not need Windows 10 key, system will activate using the key embedded in BIOS.
