Product: hp 15
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

(Model 15-da0053wm) tried to factory reset laptop froze at 42% tried this a few times, turned it off. tried to turn it back on didn't work so looked up similar problems. Tried multiple fixes, f11, f10 BIOS then f9, no battery to remove in suggested fixes on similar threads. now stuck on hp logo at startup. Please help!

Sounds like the drive may have failed.

 

You should consider running the built-in hardware diagnostics to see which devices, if any, have failed.

You do that by pressing the Esc key repeatedly while rebooting the PC.

Eventually, you should the the HP Startup Menu that looks something like the one below:

When that appears, press the key indicated for running System Diagnostics -- and report back here what it finds.

WAWood, I did run a diagnostic yesterday. I ran all of them and everything passed.
