Hi,

You need to search by HP part number.

Manual: Page 36
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04655205

Listed compatible:
45-W HP Smart AC adapter (non-PFC, EM, 3-wire) : 742437-001

65-W HP Smart AC travel adapter (non-PFC) : 693716-001

65-W HP Smart AC adapter (non-PFC, 3-wire) : 693711-001

65-W HP Smart AC adapter (RC/V, EM, 3-wire) for use in India and the People’s Republic of China : 693710-001

So one of them is 45W and rest are 65W.

From the picture you posted, I think that one is 150W. And the HP spare part number 463954-001 given in the adapter doesn't list your model as compatible in HP part surfer website.

Regards

Visruth

The AC adapters given by HP in your support manual doesn't list any 150W.

All the members helping others here are end users just like you.

We do not work for HP. HP maintains no official presence here.

We're giving you suggestions here in Forum so that no member damages his/her notebook. So what we can suggest you is what HP has given tested compatible for your model.

Requirements of your laptop do not exceed 65W. So that may be the reason why HP had not tested it.

I do not want you to fry your laptop in any way giving you false hope.

Don't know what is causing the problem for you to not see my post. Ok I'll post it again,

These are the compatible ones, (HP part number of each part is given at the end of each part described):
45-W HP Smart AC adapter (non-PFC, EM, 3-wire) : 742437-001

65-W HP Smart AC travel adapter (non-PFC) : 693716-001

65-W HP Smart AC adapter (non-PFC, 3-wire) : 693711-001

65-W HP Smart AC adapter (RC/V, EM, 3-wire) for use in India and the People’s Republic of China : 693710-001.

You've to search it in HP part store or other online stores, by HP part number that is given along with it
