Spectre x360 gem cut 15-df0400nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

I've just purchased the new Spectre x360 gem cut 15. Running buttersmooth and loving it so far! :Sunglasses:
I noticed that HP has a host of updates on the site ranging from BIOS to drivers etc. These all predate me setting up the new  machine. Quick question:  Should these updates still be installed and if so, manually or does HP push out updates to its users? Are they recommended? I haven't had a single issue yet. Thanks in advance.

Best,

Roger

Hi Roger,

Great machine! Try running HP support assistant (you can find by clicking on Start and typing HP support assistant) and you can see the updates available for your notebook.

Also, go into Windows settings > Update and Security > and let the computer completely update.

Hope it helps,

David

Hi David,

Thanks for the swift reply.  Just downloaded HP support assistant, did not come pre-installed.

This did the trick, thanks a bunch!
