I didn't perform any updates recently or drop my chromebook, to my knowledge. A light crackling sound is coming from the speakers on my chromebook even when muted. Even when I plug my ear buds in, I hear the crackling sound coming out of the ear buds. When I plug them in, the crackling sound stops coming out of the speakers. This lead me to think its a software problem. The speakers still work, infact you can't hear the crackling very while while the speakers are in use. Its only when I am not using the speakers at all that the crackling is noticible. I use my chromebook a lot, so I'm hoping I don't need to ship it to get fixed. Any help is appreiciated, thanks!
