Hi @Avreet,

Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! 🙂 Good day! I understand that MS Word and MS excel ask you for an activation code. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.

We greatly value your relationship with HP. You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.

The computer came preinstalled with a trial version of MS Office suite which would require you to purchase an activation key from Microsoft to start using the full feature of the package. I have included the product specifications of your computer for your benefit. Please look up the software section to find the required information. You could try to download a free trial  version of Microsoft office365  from the Microsoft support site: https://products.office.com/en-in/try

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
