Hi Resistencia,
Outlook is still running slow after the Bios and recent HP Updates. Emails take 1-2 seconds to load up when you click on them.
Everything was fixed after rolling back as you suggested... until the latest update.
All the tests seemed okay.
Any suggestions please?
Regards,
Paul

Please help the community keep track of the diverse content of this forum, Paul. This seems to me to be a different topic than hp hotkey uwp service and would be better off in a new thread. Thanks for your cooperation. Jimmy

I get a similar crash on Windows 10 but with fault module hputils64.dll. It occurs at shutdown, i think when the mute button has been used. Apart from that, it doesn't cause any problems. I'm waiting for Microsoft to accumulate enough problem reports to send it to HP.

Thanks David.
Yes, I figured out today that my issue also only occurs during shutdown, so doesn't impact normal operation.
All it means is that my Windows reliability score is in the toilet, since it happens at least once a day.

Hi @Hypodrive
yes you are right I have been testing this controller for some time now and it is malfunctioning, moreover it is increasing the problem over time.
The only driver that still works fine is the version : 8.10.14.1
You can download and install at the following link

I see that you still have the same controller 8.10.32.37952, then decompress the file using 7-zip or other.
Go to Device Manager and under controller Components software ,find the following driver:
HP- LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching and Hot Key Service
and then update, it takes the path that you have the driver, and in the folder where you unzip the file , search for the route
\src\driver\x64\Extension\
Select the following file and install:
HpqKbFiltrExtension.inf
