hi all,

i need a help ....

my laptop is not charging if it is off at the time of charging(plugged in) , and charging fine if it is on at the time of charging(plugged in). it not required to turn on the system whole the time of charging , but just at the time of plugging only .i have already contacted hp whatsapp support , according to their advice i updated bios version and some other driver.

please help.

I understand that you are facing a charging issue.

 

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

 

Please try the below: 

Steps to uninstall the ACPI drivers 

Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Batteries>then select the s drivers and right-click on it and uninstall all battery drivers. 

Then restart the computer and check again. 

 

Link for battery testing and calibration 

 

Also, update the BIOS.
