Sorry no one has responded to your post, and I'm not an Apple product user -- but I have run into this repeatedly with MS Win10 and Android phones -- and the solution there is to go to the phone provider, download and install their Win10 Mobile Devices driver.
HP provides no Apple device drivers, so all I can suggest is you check to see if Apple has such a driver for MS Win10.
