Brand new laptop (HP Envy) is draining battery at a rate of 10% every half an hour. Is that normal?

Ran some tests on it (says the battery is 144 days old). Says it's all okay.

I'm running my laptop at 50% brightness, and streaming a youtube video. Just a podcast. Nothing else is running. My laptop is on the lower end of Balanced (that is, the second tickmark from the end)

That gives me a battery life of 5 hours. On a brand new laptop which isn't even running at full brightness or running anything other than firefox and a youtube video of four dudes sitting on a table.

Maybe it's normal nowadays, but other laptops I've purchased have had far better batteries, so i wanted an opinion.

I don't know why everyone thinks Streaming is low-resource when the opposite is true!  I have a multicore laptop and whenever I do Streaming, it drives all the cores up to nearly 100%.

So yeah, it's going to run down the battery.
