ChromeBook Touchpad not working

[ Edited ]
Product Name: ChromeBook 11-2101TU
Operating System: Chrome OS

I have two HP ChromeBooks here, purchased in late '14, and recently both have had issues with their Trackpads, number one's Trackpad doesn't want to work at all, can only use the ChromeBook with a mouse connected. Number two's Trackpad works, yet it is difficult to click anything, it does click, if you hit it with the force of a hammer.

Update: managed to fix the Number Two ChromeBook that wasn't able to click without hard pressure, opened it up and cleaned out the trackpad a little. Now just the one that won't work: opened it up, all the connections were fine, but still nothing.

Any suggestions welcome!
