I just bought the HP Chromebook x360 14b-ca0300ng and also bought the HP Pen.. but it seems like it doesn't work. 

I also can't download the "HP Pen Controll" App .. it seems like my Chromebook is not compatible with this app.

I'm afraid your device is not compatible with an active stylus pen, as it's not a part of the compatibility list: click here to verify

That said, you may want to get yourself a passive stylus instead:

  • A passive stylus (also known as capacitive and inductive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen. Passive styluses do not require batteries, do not have any configurable options, and do not have specific pen software. Passive styluses work on any touch screen device.
