Display screen doesn't work

Xh058ua#aba
My screen doesn't work. I updated my Windows 10 (not sure if I have the 32 or 64 bit system), waited until it was done, and then closed my laptop. Now, when I boot it up, I can hear it boot up, and the light for my caps lock flashes. I've tried removing the battery, waiting about 30 seconds, then putting it back. I've also tried removing it completely and just using the plug in charger (not sure what it's called, it's the wall charger to the battery). I've tried turning it off and on multiple times. I don't have an external monitor, and I don't have a monitor scrolling key on my keyboard. Is there anything else I can try before having to take it in to a professional?
