HP E14 G4 Portable Monitor

I have an EliteBook x260 1040 6G and got the E14 G4 portable monitor as a free gift with purchase.  It was working until a month ago.  There is power going to it, but then it comes up with:

Monitor Status

USB-C Video 1:  Inactive

USB-C Video 2:  Inactive

Auto-Switch Input:  On

Next screen comes up with:

Input Signal Not Found

USB-C Video 1

Check the video cable and video source.

I really miss having a second screen and wonder why it stopped working all of a sudden?  Any help appreciated 🙂
