HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP Envy 17T model bw000-CT0 that just dropped manufacture warranty on Feb 6, 2021. Everything has been fine with it until this past Sunday. When I opened it, just like normal, it didn't want to open. On further inspection, the right side of the screen is separated. I have pics. This laptop has always been on a desktop and never been dropped or treated roughly. When I travel with it, it's in an appropriate computer case. I have been trying to reach HP to discuss this with them but since it's out of warranty by days, I am unable to email or chat with anyone.

Does anyone have a phone number, or a way to reach them by chat or email? lance.jpgI can't believe that 8 days would void a warranty when this is clearly a mfg defect. To add insult to injury, I purchased the extended warranty for a prior laptop that I had overheating issues with. I worked with an ASM named Eddy and he never transferred the extended warranty to this laptop.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

TIA...........Shonda

Hi @Xenara4evr,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
