Product: HP 15s-eq1000 Laptop PC (1E870AV)

My parents bought this laptop for me last year Sept 2021. It is dim and even putting 100% in brightness it's not HD. It's like a tint of yellow, it needs blue in it I believe. I have been reporting this since then and it's not yet fixed until now. They replaced my screen from matte to glossy it was not fixed. Any thoughts? I already requested a refund or replacement. Night light done sGRB something done. Calibrate Bios done.

What is your HP 15s-eq1000 machine ? The series has following options

 

  • High-definition (HD) (1366 × 768), antiglare, SVA, eDP 1.2, 220 nits
  • HD, BrightView, SVA, eDP 1.2, 220 nits
  • HD, BrightView, SVA, eDP, 220 nits, Touch-on Panel (TOP)
  • Full high-definition (FHD) (1920 × 1080), antiglare, SVA, eDP 1.2, 220 nits
  • FHD, antiglare, UWVA, eDP, 250 nits
  • FHD, BrightView, UWVA, eDP, 250 nits, Touch-on Panel (TOP)

 

Your machine may ONLY has HD (1366 × 768) screen.

HP Recommended

FHD (1920 x 1080), micro-edge, anti-glare, 220 nits. Thats my display specs and its not FHD. they white screen is not white it looks like dirty white
