Elitebook 860 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I just purchased a dell display S3422DWG (1440) that is connected through the HDMI 1.4b port on my HP Elitebook 860 G6 notebook.

I'm getting only 1080 resolution (max out on settings) and I read that I might need to connect it though a Display port, which is not available on this notebook.

There are some computers that connect to the Display Port through the USB-C port, however I guess this notebook doesn't support the Alt Mode that is required also.

Is there any fix to this? It's crazy to get only FHD resolution on a 34 inch monitor....thank you very much for the support!
