Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I just got a new HP notebook. I have it connected to my TV via HDMI cable with extend display and 'do nothing when lid closes' options ticked. However, unlike my previous laptop (where everything just stayed the same), when I close the lid the TV becomes display 1 and everything from the laptop monitor moves to the TV and resizes. Bouncing things between displays appears to cause visual glitches and I'd rather everything just stayed where it was, like on my previous laptop.

I have no idea how to fix it. I am not sure if it is a power options issue or whether it is an setting with the graphics card (AMD...) I've googled it and read potential fixes but nothing has helped so far.

My laptop: HP 2Q1J0EA#ABU

Thanks in advance.
