Trying to connect two additional monitors to my HP Laptop using HP USB-C docking station but not finding a way to connect.  I have used this docking station with my previous HP computer.

Your machine could be one of the following machines

For example:       HP Laptop 14-dq2055wm

 

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Not all USB-C ports are the same. Your previous HP computer has different USB-C port.
