My camera just stopped working.  Is there a switch or a key that I changed by mistake? thx - Dean

Only some of the very older laptops had a camera off switch.

 

Bring up the device manager and look for an error.  If you see one then roll back the driver to the previous one

If there are no errors then look for the camera.   Either under camera,  imaging device or try gaming or audio/media/etc

 

If no camera then try a restore point from the last time the camera worked.

Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol. This code may be needed to find cloud recovery files.
