HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl0XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After Bios update and Windows 10 update, Nvidia graphics card is not getting detected. Hence Nvidia graphics driver stopped working.

Though intel graphics card is working fine.

 

All drives and firmware are updated till date.

Windows 10 64bit is updated till date.

 

Please help.

As I understand, your notebook does not detect NVidia graphics card, 

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 

(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you checked if the Nvidia drivers are detected in Device Manager? 

 

If not, I suggest you check in Device Manager > Go to View, Show hidden devices and then check if the Nvidia drivers are detected in other devices as unknown devices.

 

You can use a Nvidia Autodetect Tool to reinstall the drivers: Click here

 

Make sure that your graphics card isn’t disabled:

  • Press Windows Key + X to open Power User Menu and select Device Manager from the list of results.
  • Once Device Manager opens, locate your graphic card and double-click it to see its properties.
  • Go to the Driver tab and click the Enable button. If the button is missing it means that your graphics card is enabled.

If the drivers are not listed in Device Manager, please perform a hardware test: 

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

  3. On the main menu, click Component Tests.

  4. The Component Tests menu displays.

  5. Video Tests - This test includes three tests of the video hardware on your computer.

    To run the test, click Video, select one of the following tests, and then click Run Once.

If the test passes, I would suggest you perform a BIOS update from the link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00042629

I have tried all the suggestions. But Nvidia graphics card is not getting detected and I don't see any 'Unknown device' in device manager.

 

Pease suggest what to do.

I recommend you download and install the driver from the below artilce and check if it resolves the issue.

If you continue to face the issue, I recommend you download and install the Nvidia auto detected utility and check whether the graphics card is detected.
