HP ENVY m6-p113dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have not been able to use my touchscreen for a few weeks. There is an error in my device manager for HID 12c. I tried finding a new driver, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. There is no option to roll the driver back. It just says driver fails to restart. Is there a better driver that I am missing or what? I do not think the recommended driver works correctly so I was hoping Microsoft has made an updated version. This Laptop is to good to have to buy a new one.

I tried all of those things and it still wont work. It says this device cannot start; A request for the HID descriptor has failed.

I am starting to believe that it is a hardware issue myself. sometimes it will work and other times it wont. The latter being 95% of the time. I will just use a wireless mouse until I decide to buy a new Laptop. I might try a different brand this time to see if I like better. Thank you both for trying to help.
