Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is model 15s-fq0017na and I was told that to get an extra monitor output (I already use the existing HDMI slot for another monitor) I needed a USB-A graphics adaptor UGA. Doing a bit more research I found this HP item (C5U89AT). Will it work on my laptop?

My monitor had a native resolution of 2048x1152. It takes DVI-D, HDMI and VGA so can I use the DVI output of the C5U89AT into my monitor and get full 2048x1152 native resolution?

Thanks

Darren
