i have a 2g Radeon(TM) HD 6770M Graphics card and i am trying to make it work right, for some reason when i switch to fixed graphics mode in the bios it runs slower and makes my games lag and when its on dynamic it runs fine. i need fix.ed mode to run some of my games and it just make my other ones run worse. any idea how to fix this?
I have been trying to figure this out for days. i just got this laptop like a week ago. i have a hp pavilion dv7t 6100
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz, 2001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) and 8gb of ram

I have also bought the dv7 pavilion(i7 2670qm, 1tb, 8gb, 6770m) and have been experiencing problems ever since. In Battlefield 3 I simply can't run it on fullscreen. Except-if I change the graphic mode to fixed in bios. And it causes the stuttering just like yours in all of the games. It is as if the games are running on intel's hd3000 and it is really frustrating. The other problem I have with fixed graphic mode is that the pc simply freezes after let's say 2-5 minutes of use. Their so called live "technical support specialists" are of literally no use. I reckon they can just tell you what is the difference between a public or a home wireless network..And that's about it. HP should really consider the quality of their products sold, not so much quantity.
